The Kirkstile Inn
The Kirkstile Inn, close to Lowestwater and Crummock Water, is ideally situated to provide you with holiday accommodation in the Lake District. Situated in and close to the major visitor attractions of the Lake District, with Keswick a short car journey away, it provides a tranquil setting from which you can explore the magnificent beauty of the English Lake District.
Meals
Lake District Breakfast
Breakfast is a wonderful experience. Enjoy a full English breakfast with locally produced Cumberland sausage and help yourself to our buffet of juice, cereals, yoghurt and fruit.
We guarantee to set you up for the day ahead.
Early breakfasts can be offered to the business traveller or those simply eager to get out onto the fells.
Meals
Our menu has been carefully designed by Head Chef Paul Williamson and his team of five and is available throughout the Inn including our dining room. It consists of some exciting new additions as well as old favourites and a full range of specials.

We make extensive use of local produce for example The Old Smokehouse at Brougham Hall, Gilcrux Trout farm, Lindsay's butchers of Cockermouth and Thornby Moor dairy at Crofton.
Representing good value our menu is offered everyday between 12 noon and 2.00 pm and from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Afternoon tea
Complimentary tea or coffee is provided on arrival and is also available in the rooms. On warm, sunny days refreshments are served outside in the garden.
