Winter
Offer
Once
again we are
delighted to offer a
Winter package from
30 October, 2011 to
29 March, 2012.
The price is £56.50
per person, per
night for a two
course dinner, bed
and breakfast for a
minimum two night
stay in a standard
room, based on two
people sharing.
This rate applies
from Sunday to
Thursday. For
Friday and Saturday
the rate is £60.00
per person, per
night on the same
basis. This is
an extremely popular
offer and we would
advise you to book
early.

Winter
Menu
Our
winter menu will
start on 5 November,
hopefully without a
bang. Once
again there will be
Cumberland Rum
Nicky; slow roasted
lamb shoulder and
new dishes such as
pheasant, duck and
rabbit terrine.
We
are constantly
seeking new local
suppliers and now
regularly take
Lorton reared rare
breed pork.

Winter
Mini Beer Festival
We
remind you of our
Winter Beer Festival
on 14, 15, 16 and 17
December, 2011.
We will be featuring
15 real ales for you
to enjoy. Book now
for accommodation on
our Winter Offer or
just come along for
a pint or two.
Our famous tatie pot
and hopbread will be
available as well as
our normal menu.

Christmas
and New Year
We
are closed from 5.00
p.m. on Christmas
Eve to 11.00 a.m. on
Boxing Day. On
New Year's Eve we
are offering a five
course dinner
(booking essential)
for £35 per person,
including a glass of
champagne and
fireworks at
midnight -
reservation only but
open for drinks to
everyone.
Otherwise open as
normal.

Accommodation
Our
self
catering
accommodation
has been well
received - it
comprises 3 bedrooms
(one en suite),
large dining kitchen
and living room.
It can sleep up to
six and is available
for weekly lets. Click

Golden Ale of
Britain
Finally
we are delighted to
report that
Loweswater Gold was
judged Best Golden
Ale in the Champion
Beer of Britain
competition.
Congratulations to
Hayley and her team
as well as Matt
Webster who was the
original brewer when
the beer was
